Protect Your Finances

- Monitor your financial accounts regularly for fraudulent activity.

- We will never ask you for your Debit Card PIN. Keep your PIN secure; do not share it with others or write it down where it could be found.
- We will never ask you for your online banking password.
- We will never ask for confidential or personal information via text.
- Only log in to online banking directly from our website at lmhospcu.com, or our official mobile app (downloaded from the App Store or Google Play).
- If you receive a suspicious phone call, text message or email claiming to be from LMCU and you are unsure if it is legitimate, please call us directly at 860-444-5104.
- Don’t give a caller your financial or other personal information.
Online Saftey Tips
- Don't click on links in emails where you don't recognize the sender. Before clicking a link, hover over the link with your mouse and you can see where that link is directing you. Make sure it is the legitimate site for that business.
- Keep your phone locked. Use fingerprint or face recognition, if available, and set your screen to lock after a short period of sitting idle.
- Choose strong, unique passwords across all your devices and apps.
- Browse safely online. Look for the lock button and "https" at the beginning of each website url to ensure it is a secure site.
- Download with caution.
- Don’t visit suspicious websites or follow links to sources you don’t trust.
- Never open unexpected attachments.
- Don’t give control of your computer to an unauthorized third party.
- Keep your computer current by updating antivirus software, antispyware, operating system, and system patches.
- Don’t share your personal information with sources you don’t trust, especially pop-ups.
- Have different passwords for work related and non-work related accounts.
- When you’re not using your computer, turn it off.
